Philosophy

I specialize in working with clients who are in mid-life and are forced to grapple with radical change: divorce, catastrophic illness, death and loss of a dear one, their own aging process, childhood sexual abuse, disappointment in love and dissatisfaction with life. If you are willing to do the hard work necessary to grow personally and spiritually, I would like to work with you. I can help you do whatever it takes to learn about who you really are. Through our work together, you will come to see your tests and trials as gateways to becoming more whole.

Dream and visualization work are specialties. My first book, Women Dreaming-into-Art, is about artists and dreams. My second book, Drinking the Dragon: Stories of the Dark Night of Soul, is about persons who utilize trauma to grow, to connect to Spirit, and to give back to their communities.

I am able to go with people to the "bottom of their own wells." This means that you have an unflinching ally as you successfully surmount life's suffering. This also means that together we can look at the broader purpose for your crisis and what it can teach you.
